Day 1 Paro – Thimphu
The flight to Bhutan is one of the spectacular mountain flight that you enjoy the most with mountain, hill and valley view. After your smooth and amazing flight, our representative will be eagerly waiting at Paro international airport for the reception. Once you meet with our representative you will be escorting towards capital city of Thimphu. On the way you may visit Tachog Lhakhang – temple of the hill of the horse. National memorial Chorten- it was built in 1974 in the memory of third king Jigme Dorji Wangchuk to dedicate to world peace.it is extraordinary example of Buddhist architecture and artworks with its gorgeous paintings and sculpture, it is popularly known as “the most visible religious landmark in Bhutan”, you can able to find lots of people circumambulating the chorten throughout the day, leisure time in the evening side. Day 2 Thimphu sightseeing
After your beautiful breakfast, enjoy the full day sightseeing in Thimphu that include a visit to kuenselphodrang or Buddha point- which is south part of Thimphu, it is located on the hill top of kuenselphodrang which massive statue of Shakyamuni is there where Buddha Dordenma is sited upon large meditation hall, it is one of the largest statue in the world. The National Library- the house of collected Bhutanese scriptures dated back at the 8th century. Post office – Post office Museum and making stamp with own photo. Tashichoedzong- the fortress of the glorious religion, His Majesty’s secretariat and central monk body. Traditional Paper Factory- the handmade paper factory. Changangkha Lhakhang – 12th century temple. Takin zoo- the place where national animal were preserved. If you have still you may visit the town of Thimphu. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 Thimphu – Punakha sightseeing
After your beautiful breakfast, you will be drive to valley of Punakha where you will come across beautiful flowers and tree. Visit Dochula Pass – 3100 meters from sea level if it is very clear day you will be able Himalayan peaks. Punakha Dzong – old capital of Bhutan, Palace of great Happiness built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel. It is situated at the confluence of the Mo Chu and Mo Chu river and it is the winter resident Je Khenpo (Spiritual leader of Bhutan). Chimi Lhakhang- It is known as fertility temple, most of childless couple go to this temple for getting blessing. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 Punakha – Paro sightseeing
After your beautiful breakfast, drive back to iconic valley of Paro, on the way you can make a stop to Photograph with beautiful and clean nature that you will come across during your way to paro. Visit Kyichu Lhakhang- is one of the oldest temple in Bhutan, built in 7th century by the Tibetan emperor, it is considered to be one of the 108 border taming temple he built. Paro National Museum – built in 1649 which used to be served as watch tower to Paro Dzong, now it is converted to National museum which displays impressive collection of ancients artifacts including traditional costume, Weapons and handicrafts. Paro Rinpong Dzong – deconsecrated in 1646 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel and established as the administrative and monastic center for the western region and listed as tentative sites for UNISCO inclusion. Day 5 Paro sightseeing
After your beautiful breakfast, you will drive to the most tourist attraction place. You need to hike for two and half hour to reach there. Visit Taktsang (Tiger Nest Monastery) -built in 1672 where guru Rinpoche meditated 3 years, 3 months, 3 days and 3 hours in the 7th century AD, it is considered to be one of the wonder by the UNISCO and considered to be very important historic and holy place for the Bhutanese people and visitor. Dumtse Lhakhang – one of most powerful temple build in 8th century. Paro Town- you will enjoy the most since it is very beautiful place where you can see Bhutanese architect house, handicraft, compact and significant view surrounded by green nature.
